Increasingly material and raw materials with an as low as possible environmental impact are selected during the development of constructions and infrastructure. Principals such as the Dutch Department of Waterways and Public Works use DuboCalc as well as the Dutch National Environmental Database for this purpose, which include environmental information on products and materials. This is based on the LCA method with which the environmental effects of materials during their full life cycle are detailed, from the extraction of raw materials up to and including production and the application in works.

For the Voorvliet and Montfoortse vaart quay improvement project, Solines supplied more than 5500 metre of pipe with diameters of 139.7 mm and Ø 152.4 mm
These pipes are used in combination with 300 metres of Prolock plastic piling. The plastic screen retains the soil and the often much longer piles ensure the firmness and rigidity of the total construction.

This is the first video of a series of 13 company videos which Twinsense is making on behalf of Profextru Productie B.V. The Limburg water authority is working on a test with innovative plastic anti-piping screens. The test started in October. The results will be available at the beginning of next year.
On the 26th and 27th of September the trade fair ‘Openbare ruimte’ (Public space) is organised at the Jaarbeurs, Utrecht, the Netherlands. This trade fair is the absolute event for design, interior, maintenance and management of public space.
