Prolock included in the Dutch National Environmental Database!
Increasingly material and raw materials with an as low as possible environmental impact are selected during the development of constructions and infrastructure. Principals such as the Dutch Department of Waterways and Public Works use DuboCalc as well as the Dutch National Environmental Database for this purpose, which include environmental information on products and materials. This is based on the LCA method with which the environmental effects of materials during their full life cycle are detailed, from the extraction of raw materials up to and including production and the application in works.
For Profextru, this was the reason to have the dam wall included in the Dutch National Environmental Database, to enable principals to locate the product, and to use DuboCalc to compare it with other dam walls. Similarly the LCA scan resulted in the extension of a full LCA in accordance with the SBK determination method (SBK is a Dutch construction quality institute). The LCA report is tested independently, and approved by an external LCA agency.
